Join us for the APEX4 Workshop @ IUCr25

You are cordially invited to the release workshop of our new 4th generation APEX software suite. APEX4 is the next major release of the world’s most frequently used software suite for single crystal X-ray diffraction. APEX 4 comes with numerous new features and improvements. For example, first beta testers are thrilled by the perfect implementation of STRUCTURE NOW. This new plugin performs a complete structure determination and provides first structural information after only a couple of seconds. First testers also are excited about our new twin handling approach. Many routines, Bruker was the first to introduce, such as space group determination (XPREP) and complex twin indexing (RLATT) have been rewritten and modernized. The clear workflow, so many of you users like from the existing version, has been kept in place – but is now systematically enriched with lots of feedback and guidance for users.
The workshop will be given by Dr. Tobias Stuerzer, Head of Global SC-XRD Application and his team. The workshop will take place as a virtual satellite meeting of the IUCR 25 on
Saturday, August 14th, 2021 from 9:00h (CEST) until 13:00 (CEST).
