Course Options
** Digital courses will be hosted via video conference and will cover the same topics as the courses hosted at our Madison facility. The course will be broken up in a morning session and afternoon session (attendees will attend both). Course work will include lecture sessions on principles of X-ray analysis as well as training sessions with different software packages. Customers may receive a training packet with samples and datasets prior to the live sessions.
Powder Diffraction Basics (Monday/Tuesday)
Morning session: 10am - 12pm CDT
Afternoon session: 2pm - 4pm CDT
This training course will show the theoretical fundamentals, sample preparation techniques, and methods in qualitative phase analysis with the D2 and D8 family of diffractometers. The main focus is on powder diffraction using the DIFFRAC.SUITE software packages including DIFFRAC.EVA.
Quantitative X-ray Analysis (Wednesday/Thursday)
Morning session: 10am- 12pm CDT
Afternoon session: 2pm - 4pm CDT
This training course will show the different methods used for quantitative phase analysis, including the DIFFRAC.EVA and DIFFRAC.TOPAS software packages. The course is intended for users with experience in XRD, new users are strongly encouraged to first attend the X-ray Powder Diffraction course.

Attendance Fee The course fee is $1,700 USD per attendee per two-day session. |

Class Size Because our courses are interactive and learner-oriented, we limit class size to a minimum of three and a maximum of six. Early enrollment is encouraged as registrations are accepted on a first-come/first-serve basis. |
