Elemental Analysis in Forensics with Micro X-ray Fluorescence

Complimentary webinar

Micro X-ray Fluorescence (μ-XRF) is an analytical technique that is often used in forensics due to its benefits of small sample requirements, non-destructive capabilities, speed of analysis and data quality for elements ranging from Sodium to Uranium.

In this webinar, Mike will discuss Bruker's M4 TORNADO high-performance Micro-XRF spectrometer. This webinar will begin with an explanation of the M4 TORNADO and the physical principles including polycapillary optics, position tagged spectroscopy, spatial resolution and quantification.

In the second half of the webinar, Mike will discuss a variety of applications within forensics where the M4 TORNADO is commonly used. This includes gun shot residue, paint chips, glass fragments and the identification of small particles. Please join us for this exciting webinar and learn how Micro XRF is used in forensics.

We look forward to seeing you online for future webinars.
