In this 45-minute webinar, Christian Hübschle will introduce ShelXle, a graphical user interface (GUI) for small molecule structure refinement with SHELXL™. ShelXle combines an auto-completion, syntax highlighting editor with a graphical representation of the three dimensional structure in one program. This makes ShelXle easily accessible to novice crystallographers but at the same time gives expert users of SHELXL full control over the instruction (*.ins) input file. Novice users can rapidly learn how to appreciate the full capability of SHELXL by exploring the intuitive functionality of ShelXle.

To conclude the webinar Michael Ruf will give a sneak-peak preview of Bruker’s adaptation of ShelXle in the APEX2 software suite. ShelXle is currently being implemented as a full plugin in the APEX2 framework. There will also be a live Q&A session following the webcast.
